Welcome to our website for Primeval Ink Tattoo! Here you can view photos of tattoos by all of our artists, see pictures of both of our shops, read articles (by and about us) that have appeared in newspapers, or contact us by e-mail (at home) in Olympia. We also have a section on Permanent Cosmetics done by appointment by Suzanne, so check that out.

March 1, 2007 marks our tenth anniversary. Primeval Ink first opening its doors for business in our old location in White Center in West Seattle. We moved from Seattle to open our shop in Monroe, in November of 2001 and most recently to Olympia to open our shop on April 1st two years ago.

Suzanne and Andi (the owners) are working in both Olympia and in Monroe. We alternate weeks, going up Friday and Saturday, so our Monroe area clients can arrange for appointments on those days. Andi is available both for tattooing and for piercing in both Olympia and Monroe. Suzanne is available both for tattooing and for permanent cosmetics in Olympia and Monroe by appointment.

Monroe is open every day of the week, 12-6 on Sunday, 12-8 most weekdays, and 10-10 most Fridays and Saturdays. In Olympia regular hours are 12-8 pm Tuesday through Saturday.

Our brilliant tattoo artists have been trained here at Primeval Ink, and we are very proud of them!

Dawn has been with us the longest. She likes to open the shop in Monroe at 10:00 a.m. for her early morning appointments. She has developed into a fantastic designer with a truly unique tribal vision. Dawn is also available by appointment for some piercings.

Jen works in Monroe on Sunday and during the week. She is a specialist in wildlife art and design and is an all around wonderful artist with a loyal following.

Chuck is our newest artist in Monroe. He is also known for teaching snowboarding up at the pass. Besides having a wonderful “bed-side manner” he is known for his calm maturity, cheerful sense of humor, and meticulous attention to detail as well as his artistic sensibility.

In Olympia our newest (and youngest!) artist is Mitch who previously worked as a glass etcher and airbrush artist -  his “portfolio” consisting of a hand-etched circle of glass just blew us away! Mitch has a dedicated following all over the Olympia area already, and is a surprisingly mature person with an artistic talent so vast that we predict he will be widely known as best in this area before long and we certainly hope it doesn’t go to his head. Mitch is also known for his kindness to clients and never fails in his good humored response to a customer.

We are proud to know that Primeval Ink consistently gets really good word of mouth which is of course the best kind of advertising there is!

We now have t-shirts (in black or grey) featuring the Celtic seahorse logo and the slogan "Think Globally, Get Tattooed Locally." T-shirts are $15 for mens, and $20 for womens (special orders are available). Oh, also, bumper stickers and magnets are available for free, when we have them. We also sell Tattoo Goo for aftercare, although we can’t always seem to  keep it in stock!
